Romanians, Bessarabia and Transnistria" by Ioan and Luiza Popa (Bucharest, 2012).
The publication, now in its second edition, revised and supplemented, contains a rich historical documentary material from Romanian as well as Russian-Soviet, Ukrainian, Moldavian, German, British, American or Finnish sources and archives, through which the authors succeded - on over 459 pages - to bring the readers balanced, strictly scientific data about persons, actions and events that have marked the millennial presence of Romanians over the Dniester, in close connection with other populations and, of course, the compact mass of the Romanian people of the area between the Prut and Dniester and the right bank of the Prut.
